I've posted this particular pattern of the Zug Bug because I think the accompanying picture is the best I've seen of the pattern -- the body should be nice a plump, not short and sickly thin.

One of the best trout and bass flies around. Everyone should have this fly in their box. The videos are fantastic -- well produced and narrated. Originally done for public TV in Washington State. I find it interesting that during the discussion they suggest fishing this as a dry fly which is not somethign I've thought of before. It would be an excellent fast water dry/hopper pattern.
